Betting Tips: UEFA Champions League – Matchday 4 – Tuesday – 11/4/2014

Arsenal v. Anderlecht
Pick: Arsenal -1.5 at -105 (5Dimes)

Arsenal are back on track after a slow start to the season, and can secure a spot in the next round with a win today. Anderlecht are a young and inexperienced team, and two of their best players, Suarez and Defour, are out today. Alexis Sanchez continued his scoring form over the weekend, and I like his chances to score again today. Even if Arsenal rests a couple of players, they should still cruise in this one at home.

Borussia Dortmund v. Galatasaray
Pick: Borussia Dortmund -2 at +128 (5Dimes)

I don’t like wagering against my own team Galatasaray, but I’m not missing out on another opportunity to cash in on them. Galatasaray are horrible this year. They still have not adapted to manager Prandelli’s system. Their squad is not as strong as last year’s, and they will be missing defensive midfielder Felipe Melo, who is a key player for them. Dortmund are yet to concede a goal in the CL this year. They absolutely crushed my team last time out in Istanbul, and I don’t see it playing out any different this time around in Germany.

Real Madrid v. Liverpool
Pick: Real Madrid -2 at +117 (5Dimes)

Nothing is more assuring than wagering on arguably the best club team in the world, Real Madrid. Liverpool have not been the same without Suarez, and have really struggled to score goals this season. They have failed to put the ball in the net in three of their last four matches in all competitions. Real Madrid will not let off the gas pedal, until they secure their place in the next round. Ronaldo is on an absolute tear, and could potentially cover the spread by himself.
